GeSI SMARTer2020: The Role of ICT in Driving a Sustainable Future

The new research study from GeSI SMARTer2020 identifies that ICT in different sector could cut the global emissions by 16,5% which is a reduction of 9.1 Gigatonnes of Co2. This total amounts for $1.9 trillion in energy and fuel reduction which is the equivalent of Russia GDP.
